1. Weather forecast - Motorcycle transport - Outward journey - Arrival

On our Forum you can meet other participants with whom you can eventually ride together, organise transport, etc.

 

The Brno track is situated just outside the city of Brno.

From the romantic city of Prague, situated at 900 km from Brussels, you still have 200 km to go.

 

You have access to the paddock parking from 8PM the day before our event.

 

After our event, we have to clear the parking for 7 PM.

There is free access to this gigantic place to stay the night. Showers, bathrooms and connections for electricity and water are available.

 

On our website, you can find a description of this worldfamous Moto GP track where every year, prestigious competitions like the Czech Moto Grand Prix is run.

You can also find a predefined Routeplanner to Brno on our "Tracks"-page (click on the red balloon of Brno, and on the pop-up that appears, you can click on "To here").

Also try the zoom-function on this page. Next you can choose in the right upper corner of the map for "Kaart (Map)" or "Satelliet (Satellite)". If you choose "Satellite", you will see a very detailed aerial view of the track.

2. Lodging - Pitbox(es)

An overview of all the lodging possibilities can be found here.

 

From 9 PM, you can - if desired/rented - take up your pitbox and get installed. You don't have to reserve on beforehand.

An hour after the end of our last session, the pitboxes have to be handed over again to the track.

 

You can get the keys for a box @ the EYBIS pitbox, by paying 605 € in cash.

(185 € / day + 50 € caution for 3 days).

After returning your keys before 7 PM the last day, your 50 € will be given back to you.

 

There are 27 pitboxes of 6 x 14 m available.

 

Every pitbox has a bathroom and connections for electricity and water.

3. Administration - Technical Inspection

a. Enrolments - In the EYBIS tent @ box n° 27

Sunday evening from 9 untill 10 PM

In the morning from 7.00 AM.

 

More details are available on the time schedule that you find below.

(to have with you: id-card & completed and signed waiver of liability)

There and then :
    • hand in your id-card, 20 € and hand in completed and signed waiver of liability
    • receive your transponder,bracelet in groups colour, sticker with n° to place on motorcycle and a sticker for your motorcycle with the color of your group
    • the use of your transponder is mandatory and for FREE on Monday. Based on your laptimes from your first 3 sessions, the different groups will be remade, to reduce unnessary and dangerous speed differences in every group to a minimum. On Tuesday and Wednesday, you can continue to use your transponder - if desired - for a cost of 10 € per day. If you return your transponder on Monday evening, your 20 € will be refunded on site integrally. On Tuesday evening, you get 10 € back and on Wednesday evening nothing - except your ID card ;-) - anymore.

b. Technical Inspection

There is no mandatory technical inspection.
Pay attention: maximum allowed noise limit is @ 107 dB. It is your own responsibility to respect it.

4. General MANDATORY Briefing for everyone at 8.30AM !

Mandatory (!) general (safety)briefing: @ 8.30 AM @ the EYBIS tent.

 

After having followed the safety briefing, you will get a little sticker for your helmet.

 

No sticker = no access to the track.

 

Tip for the PRO-group: be at this briefing in your outfit and have your bike ready before the start of this briefing. Almost immediately after the briefing, the sessions on track will start.

 

Place and time of the different theoretical briefings for the Rookies will be communicated on the spot through the loudspeakers.

5. Time Schedule

6. Tyre service - Gas - Transponders

  • Tyre service is available. The exact location in the paddock will be decided on the spot.
  • Gasstation available in the paddock.
It should be possible to pay with creditcard AND with cash. Local money is advised!
  • Transponders: on Monday, your transponder is FOR FREE and MANDATORY. On Tuesday and Wednesday, you can - if desired by you - keep your transponder for 10 € per day. If you participate at the free race in the late afternoon, your 3rd and 4th sessions counts as qualification. Without renting a transponder, you can still join the race, but start from behind.

8. What can not be done

Here's a list of prohibitions that we found in the contract with the Brno track :
  • Not being in the possibility to show your enrolment and payment proof to the people at the paddock gate
  • Animals that run free are absolutely prohibited in the complete paddock
  • Animals, even on a leash, are not allowed in the pitlane nor pitboxes
  • Smoking is not allowed in the pitboxes
  • Children under 5 can not drive with motorcycles or pocketbikes in the paddock
  • Maximum allowed speed on the domain - except on the track itself ;-) - is 20 km/hr
  • Drilling holes in the asphalt (to fix a tent for example) is not allowed
  • After 7PM and before 8AM, noise has to be limited to the strictly necessary; starting of racebikes with open exhaust and idle warming up of motorcycles, even with a standard exhaust, is prohibited in this period

9. Food - Drinks

In the paddock, there is a restaurant and numerous little "stalls" where you can buy as well drinks as snacks.

Breakfast, dinner and supper can be taken at the restaurant.
