Car rentalAt Avis, we booked a category A car (Renault Clio level) online, and we got on the spot a free upgrade of 2 categories. Finally, our category C car was a black 5-doors Fiat Grande Punto. We picked it up on thursday evening 8 January 2009 around 8 PM, and turned it in on saturday evening around 6 PM. We paid precisely 68,25 € all in and were very satisfied about the service : the car had done 9.000 km, was in perfect condition and was spotless, as well inside as outside.
When we returned the car, it was immediately - and without any waiting time - checked and we got a correct statement to sign. So no risk of extra costs billed afterwards on your VISA invoice. For 34 € / day als incl., we felt very well served. |
HotelVia Booking.com we booked 2 nights at the 4 star Hotel Jupiter. This hotel has a swimming pool (in open air, that can be covered), a gym, an excellent computer/internet room, etc. We paid only 46 € / night, breakfast included, for a very nice double room were we stayed alone.
Our room was situated on the 7° floor, had a terrace with seaview and the sea was at 50 m. The room had a bathroom (with toilet and a shower as well as a bathtub), and a television with remote control. We parked our car for free in a covered and guarded parking. In the lobby and in the large bar on the ground floor, WIFI is available at 2 € for a half hour or 3 € for an hour. We spent during 2 nights 2 € every night to check our e-mails. |
