Fly to Portimao

Via Jempi Reizen from Lochristi (Belgium) we booked a returm ticket for 164 €, all inclusive. Earlier, we found the same flights - at the same price - on Connections.be.
We fly in on saturday 17^th octobre 2009 from Brussels to Lisbon, and return on monday 26^th octobre 2009 from Lisbon to Brussels. The company we choose is SN Brussels Airlines. Lisbon is about 290 km from Portimao, while Faro is at only 70 km, but yet we saved a lot of money with the route of our choice.

Car rental

For this we still don't have better / cheaper information than the one we got during our reconnaissance of Portimao and its vicinity on 8-9-10 january 2009.
At Avis we booked a category A car (niveau Renault Clio) online and got an upgrade of 2 categories.
We wrote at that time that we felt very well served for 34 € / day all incl.
In the mean time, we booked via Jempi Reizen even cheaper a Ford Focus or equivalent vehicle.

Hotel

We booked the 4-star Hotel Jupiter via Jempi Reizen (Belgium), on a double room basis.
This hotel has a swimming pool (in open air, that can be covered), a gym, an excellent computer/internet room, etc. We paid only 46 € / night, breakfast included, for a very nice double room were we stayed alone.

Our room was situated on the 7° floor, had a terrace with seaview and the sea was at 50 m. The room had a bathroom (with toilet and a shower as well as a bathtub), and a television with remote control. We parked our car for free in a covered and guarded parking. In the lobby and in the large bar on the ground floor, WIFI is available for free.
