The circuit was built between 1978 and 1983, after which it was opened.
The circuit was renovated in 1995 and 2005, with the second renovation including a new chicane.
The World SBK has been running there every year since 2021.
In 2021, the 6 Hours of Most - as part of the FIM EWC (world endurance championship) - will be held there.
The circuit consists of 21 corners, nine to the left and twelve to the right.
In total, the track is 4212 meters long and contains a straight of 800 meters.
It has a width of twelve to fourteen meters and a height difference of 12.04 meters.
There is also a go-kart track next to the circuit.
The circuit is located northwest of the town of Most and south of Lake Matylda.

Everybody is responsible for the good state of his motorcycle and riders outfit.

The technical inspection will be done at random.
In the paddock and in the boxes conventional as well as 3-pole (blue) EURO “Camping”-plugs can be used (= of the type “16 AMP two-pole”).
In the paddock there are several buildings with showers and toilets
